I saw this on a recent venture to CA and have no idea what it is. Can anyone help identify it?

Looks like yellow oleander. Highly invasive and toxic.

As long as they stay far away from me and my yard, I am happy to admire them. Grin

There are plants everywhere that may be considered horrible and invasive by someone but we can still admire their beauty and allow others to do the same.

TT, let Lydwulf enjoy their California memories. No horror stories necessary - Yellow Oleander will never be found or planted in Montana.

Unless they have a greenhouse or very bright window.

I wasn't telling them not to enjoy them. I just pointed out that they are invasive in California and toxic.

This is a common tree in Hawaii, the be-still tree. It is planted in some older graveyards. It spreads by seed.
