What is not to love about Lava Flow? This bloomed well in late Spring and has now put up SIX re-bloom scapes, with loads of buds (and white flies!). This isn't the nicest bloom it's ever had, however I am delighted to see blooms in November! The plant seems to be resistant to the daylily rust that has infected other plants in the garden and also still has nice green foliage.

But since I started one, you're welcome to post it there! Even though it's an LFO, it's still pretty and blooming in November!

Added: Okay, I know I'm slipping a bit (a lot?), but was this posted here or did you move it Dave?

Hurray! Mike!

I either missed a bloom on a rebloom scape on Rhythm of Love, or it never quite made it. Looks like this...

I considered making a seedling thread for some opening up.
But they are pretty boring.

This one had 4 open today, not so bad for November.
Even if the blooms are meh. A chucker for sure.

Not overly pretty, but fairly unusual, I think, to still see blooms in Northern Illinois in November. Somehow we've avoided a deep frost, or an extended perdiod with mild overnight frost. And so, these have still bloomed here for me.

Nice Tim!

Lava Flow keeps on keepin' on. I counted buds and stopped counting when I reached thirty on just three scapes. Since there are six scapes I'd estimate more than fifty buds remaining. I can't imagine they will all bloom but it's a bit exciting waiting to see if they do.

There was also a bloom on Rhythm of Love, but it was so awful I won't post it.

I was at my aunt's house yesterday and a Stella de Oro was still in bloom. It was in a spot protected facing east and protected by the garage from the west.

Stellas are still blooming here in some commercial landscape beds, where there's a lot of stone and concrete to hold the heat.

Butterscotch Ruffles is still blooming here. That plant has been amazing: it blooms early, it blooms all season, and it blooms late.
