Hello...have a friend living in North Central Maryland and has this iris reblooming. We thought it may be Harvest of Memories because it has purple-based foliage but it just doesn't look like it based on photos from the WIKI Iris Encyclopedia. https://wiki.irises.org/TbFthr....
She has quite a collection of Schreiner's iris from the 1970's to the 1990's and was wondering if it could be Tut's Gold (Schreiner's 1979). However, I don't know if TG has purple-based foliage or not...does anyone grow this and tell me if it does? Also, I never thought TG was a rebloomer but it is listed in the Cumulative Checklist of Reblooming Iris that it has been reported to rebloom in CA and UT. As some of you know we have had a very warm and very dry fall here in the mid-Atlantic which could have forced this into rebloom. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks much.

SPIRIT OF FIJI?

It looks a bit light in the falls (compared to your friend's NOID), but it does have that bit of greenish cast.

It doesn't look quite ruffled enough to be PURE AS GOLD, though the color is very close (but missing that hint of green in the falls).

Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom

SPIRIT OF MEMPHIS is not listed as having PBF (AIS registration or this database), and it did not appear on another list that I use to check for PBF, so Shrug! .
