The plants formerly considered Consolida are now Delphinium.

Lumpers unite!

Oy. Then our database needs some work. How are they now differentiated, name-wise,? Definitely different appearance.

Yes, let's just lump all of the plants into a single genus & be done with it.

But in this particular case, why are they trying to kill Larkspur? Calling it a Delphinium is a sure death sentence. Now it will be very elusive & particular, wilted yet overwatered, too hot while freezing to death, sunburned and etiolated. So cruel & undeserved. Poor Larkspur. I'll never insult you that way, you're safe with me.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.

Lol Tiffany, I agree. Funny thing is, the common name for some delphiniums is larkspur, which is why I differentiated in the first place. In my climate, delphiniums are touch and go, but these annual near-wild larkspurs (Consolida) emerge in the spring with gleeful abandon and require no care.
