I have all kinds of plant in my room. They range from flowers to succulents. With the flowers I can't get them to bloom i was thinking was my light so i did a whole bunch of research but I can't get a direct answer.

Usually the reason is not enough light and/or not being fertilized or fertilized enough.
Maybe tell us which plants refuse to bloom.

Yes, what plants? Agree with Tommy, combination of indoors+winter=insufficient light. Also, how much natural light does your room get? Some indoor plants, like African violets, bloom year-round in sunny window spaces.

I can't think of a houseplant that normally blooms non stop.
Plant it and they will come.

Violets are pretty much non-stop but most plants bloom in their season with the right conditions but even violets need the right conditions.

By "year-round" I didn't mean nonstop, but periodically throughout the year. However when @CatieCasey says "flowers" we have no idea what she's talking about — houseplants? Annuals? Orchids? I mentioned African violets mainly because I happen to be looking at mine and it does bloom nearly nonstop, all seasons, in excellent light.

I have only two of these accessible south-facing glass block windows. Wish they all were like this. 💛

Some varieties of streptocarpus (the "Ice" series) and African violets will bloom all year long.

@CatieCasey still hasn't told us what plants we're talking about.
