Now that there is snow cover, my 2 small female dogs have taken to using my iris bed as their toilet since it's closest to the door. Will their urine hurt my irises come spring?

Note: I laid down some fencing over my iris bed to discourage them from using it which should work until we get more snow.

EDIT: The fencing does not deter them. Sigh...
