Thanks Lucy, for saying what I was hoping was the case regarding the contact vs. smothering dilemma. Members here who have been around a while know I am a stickler for false statements. Notwithstanding Catpaworchids's definition, any horticulturist in the world would categorize pesticidal oils as contact pesticides.

Now to a more important part of the discussion:
they say parts of the snapping turtle tastes like chicken, too. Whistling

I have eaten alligator. It doesn't taste like chicken, it tastes like alligator. It's good!

Dawn is great for all flying pests! No real need to spray, I keep a solution in a small, heavy container, not easily tipped over in the kitchen, any place I see them , they fly in, never get out! Even had a mouse fall in, could not get out and died. Keep it away from curious pets and children!!! We had problems with midges this year, they bite and leave very itchy spots! Dawn gets them!!!
