Hi my weeping cherry is leaking SAP. Why is that and is it normal or what should I do.

Oozing sap can be caused by disease, insects, or even mechanical damage.

It looks eerily similar to how White Pine boles look when infected with blister rust, a disease.

I think borers are the issue. A drench with imidacloprid (Bayer Yearly Systemic Tree and Shrub) should take care of it.
