Thanks, Donna. I find Epimediums to be very well-behaved - no nonsense and go about doing their job without fuss and with no maintenance from me. Much photographed too. I think I've just convinced myself, with your help, to go and buy a few more. Thank You!

I do too and I don't have enough partial shade to plant as many as I'd like. Have a bank of periwinkle of which I am not fond and am working to eliminate it. Some day I hope to fill it up with Epimediums, Ferns, and Hellebores. No hostas, deer destroy those!
