Would you please reach out to your plant friends and get some suggestions on a house plant that doesn't like much sun? I am also looking for one that will get big. Thank you so very much.

I can't think of any large plants that would also appreciate low light. Maybe one of those incredibly realistic artificial trees? We have some at church - people actually water them and have asked for cuttings!

Dracaena (and ex-Sansevieria)
Pleomele (Dracaena marginata)
Dwarf Schefflera (Heptapleurum)
All can become tree-like given time and moderate light.

Parlor Palm (Chamaedorea elegans)
Heart Leaf Philodendron (Philodendron hederaceum var. oxycardium) - can adapt to any size by use of a trellis or pole,
Bird's Nest Fern (Asplenium antiquum 'Crissie') - eventually more wide than tall,
Blushing Philodendron (Philodendron Prismacolor™ Pop Art) - also got more wide than tall
