Hoping someone may help me to identify this flower I can pick up any piece of it from the root ,place it wherever and oh my goodness. It takes right off with new growth shortly after and blooms to follow.Never found it to be invasive. It just grows where planted. When growing it is like a nice bushy plant with little white flowers similar to a baby's breathe or gypsolphilia pretty sure though that it is neither. The plant itself is very sturdy, tall and so soft.I can't trim the tops off and within a few days another flush will appear.I have had this plant for well over 20 years and thankfully I brought some with me when we moved .The plant in question is one of the ones I divided from another ,it is the one on the left of the Gnome ,not blooming yet

Hi anniebear198 Welcome! to the site!

Pretty garden! Both of your photos show numerous plants, can you be more specific as to which one you are wanting identified?

Edited to say, apologies, I see that you are asking about the plant in the first photo to the left of the Gnome but it's a bit of a distance to see the leaves clearly. Can you take a closer photo?

How large are the flowers and what time of year does it usually bloom?

Closer photos of the leaves may help in identifying but in the meantime, this Alberta Plant ID page might be helpful; it has photos of lots of white flowered plants: https://albertaplantid.ca/forb...

1. Goodness...need clear close up pics.
"a nice bushy plant with little white flowers"

Edited to add...
It might be Achillea ptarmica "The pearl."..pics below.
It has leaves like yours with tiny white double flowers...can become invasive here.
Quote RHS..
"A vigorous perennial forming a spreading clump of finely cut foliage, with dark green leaves and pure white, double flower-heads"

The pink flower in the center is Liatris spicata...see my pics below
Need clear close ups of anything else.
I tried to work out what the white flowers were, only to realise it was a row of fairy lights Duh!

Lin ,your link is only showing Wild flowers from Alberta...I believe the white flower to be a cultivated garden flower rather than a wild flower.
....see my suggestion above.

Can't await for spring .Only another 2.5'long long months of snow and chilly weather. On the Brightside though…the mosquito population is way down lol.

I forgot my manners..Welcome to the forums!
Delighted to be able to help.
Thank you for the acorn.
I hope the Liatris spicata was also correct.
In future please can you just do one plant per thread and add really clear pics...to show as much detail as possible...leaves, flowers, berries, etc

Welcome to this wonderful website, Annie.

I believe I also have this very beautiful white flower. The name given to me at the time, was Achillea ptarmica 'The Pearl Superior'. It seems to hold its own place in a crowded space, and I appreciate the beautiful white pompoms of blossoms.

I have also submitted this Plant Combination photo.
