'Minuteman' is one of those cultivars that doesn't pass the 20ft rule. At all. It's too close to 'Patriot' to quickly be able to tell the difference and copping a feel of the leaves to judge thickness is not necessarily going to make you any wiser since there are both diploid and polyploid forms of 'Patriot'...

'Monashee Blue Cup'

MBC has been referred to as a smaller 'Abiqua Drinking Gourd' and just for fun, here they are side-by-side.

I've had this variety since '08 and it sets seed readily. Here's a picture of one of those seedlings which I called "Monashee Sawmill" and unfortunately I lost it to root rot....

'Marilyn Monroe' Nice hosta, enjoy the ruffled edges

'Mini Skirt' nice small hosta, currently holds it own in the shade of Winter Snow

If you're unsure about it identity, while I don't have it personally, it certainly looks as if the ID is spot on. Though impossible to tell in the picture you posted keep an eye out for reddish petioles.. Nice plant, hope to see it around here sometime soon....

I think I need a 'Midnight Oil'!

My 'M' hostas begin with:

'Mango Tango', July 16
This one has been in my garden since 2012. This "stitched" hosta is quite interesting. And it's related to the 'Summer Music' group through 'Dance With Me'.
Thumb of 2025-01-27/ViolaAnn/9cb770

'Marilyn Monroe', Sept. 9
I've grown "Marilyn" since 2006, but lately she'd been getting smaller and not looking as happy so in 2023, I dug and divided her and replanted in enriched soil near where she's been before and she looked happier in 2024.
Thumb of 2025-01-27/ViolaAnn/be5225

'Masquerade', June 30
One of my earliest hostas that I acquired in the '90s, but a replacement plant as I eventually lost my original plants which were in the ground. This replacement stays in a pot and I've had it since 2012.
Thumb of 2025-01-27/ViolaAnn/a2286e

'Mighty Mouse', July 25
Another of the "Mouse Ears" bunch that I've had since 2011. It stays in a 5" pot in a trough for summer and my veggie garden for winter. Without its marker, I can't distinguish it from 'Frosted Mouse Ears'.

The rest of my 'M' hostas -

'Milkmaid', July 8
I've had this one since Aug. 2016 and I enjoy it. It's definitely smaller than 'Spilt Milk'.

'Mini Skirt', June 30
One of my newer hostas that I got in 2021. It doesn't seem as ruffled as some of this variety can get.

montana 'Aureomarginata', July 25
Another newer (to me) hosta, acquired only 2022. I gave up on the hosta that had been in this location and decided it was about time I got one of these.
Thumb of 2025-01-27/ViolaAnn/9cb593

'Morning Light', July 25
This one I've had since 2005 and have had reasonable success keeping it immediately east of my house where it definitely gets only morning light. It still will melt out occasionally and is not a fast grower.
Thumb of 2025-01-27/ViolaAnn/c27703

'My Claire', Aug. 27
I've had this since 2008 and think it's really underrated. In fact I've never seen anyone else post it, but I like it a lot. It's quite small and not fast growing.

Ann, when you say enriched soil, what do you mean? More compost, fertilizer etc. Thanks

First, I dig out any tree roots that are encroaching. Then I replace the soil but augment it either with my own compost or with manure or with mushroom compost and water very well, because near the trees that is also a problem.

Mango Tango is one that did not overwinter for me when I bought it a few years ago and have not been able to find a replacement.

I've tried two Mango Tango. Decided it was a nice annual!
