I was recently given this plant with no tag. It has multiplied into numerous bulbs. I am hoping the spots on the stem will help.

I think it's Ledebouria/Drimiopsis.

I have both millipedes and centipedes. Obviously I stay away from the centipedes but I just brush the millipedes aside. The millipedes don't bite but some of them do exude a toxin so I leave them alone.

Happy to suggests Tomtom2
Mean while, here is how to distinguish both genera/species.

Even without bloom, sometimes we can distinguish some plants, by carefully observe the details. You can check later if the following signs are consistent to mystery bulbs.

Scadoxus: Most cultivated is S. multiflorus, but other species like S puniceus is not very rare, albeit less common. Both species I think are identical on young plants, flower will distinguish both.
Leaves; Lanceolate, lance-shape / spoon like, with tapering or rounded on both ends. Not arrowhead shape, NO spots, rather flat and shiny. Note; that all Scadoxus spesies has lanceolate/spoon like leaves, none with triangular/cordate leaves.
Leaves stalks/Petioles; are long, purplish spots, more spot towards bottom. Later petiole will wrap each other creating pseudo stem, just like onion stalk.
Bulbs; Onion like, each layer wraps completely just like onion, smooth, sometime can be with purplish spots, outer layer can be dried like tunic. If onion like layer detached, it cannot produce plantlets, they just dries.
Scadoxus bulbs are often distinct with enlarge disc / base, creating double layer bulb appearance, sometime the disk can even be bigger than the bulb it self. this is quite distinct.

Here is the comparison of the mystery plant image with web image from;
https://www.tropicalseeds.com/... and https://plantsam.com/scadoxus-...
Note that one of image is from S puniceus, since I can't find young plant of S multiflorus with single leaf only, but they both identical IMHO

Drimiopsis maculata
Leaves; cordate, they are heart shape / triangular or arrowhead shape. Usually with spots hence the species name maculata. Venation parallel and arcuate. Note; other Drimiopsis species can have lanceolate leaves, but D maculata is not lanceolate
Leaves stalk/Petiole; short, can be spotty, but with fine and small spots. Will not produce pseudostem
Bulbs; Scally and Lilium like. Cream or can be Purplish/greenish tinged, if exposed to sunlight, Sometime can be spotty.
Detached scale can produce plantlets, just like lilium sp
Basal disc are not prominent, No double layer appearance.
