When everything is in bloom, I see areas where I want to plant bulbs in the Fall. I have quite a few clumps of daffodils and giant alliums. Any ideas of how to locate those bare spots in Autumn when it is time to plant? By then, all the foliage is long gone from the current plantings.

Can you use rocks? Softball-size rocks would work I think.

Try using some wooden stakes.

I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database!
If I already know what cultivar I will plant in fall, I make a label and place it in the future home
