My son has an iphone that can identify plants by the picture you take of it, is there an android version of this? Thank you

Yes, it's called Google Lens. There are several ways to access it if it's not already on your phone, through Google Photos or the app from the play store. Do a search for "Google Lens" and the name of your phone and you'll get info.

HOWEVER — I encourage you to never rely 100% on an ID app if you're unfamiliar with the plant and especially if it's a picture of leaves only, but it's often a good starting point. We humans are always happy to help you out! Hurray!
