|I had to giggle as i was listening to your recent podcast on hot-weather plants. My little girl and I grow sunflowers and often take them to our 4H fair because come late July, they are the most reliable and showey flowers in our garden (which i often forget to water). So I'm gonna call you out to recommend some sunflower cultivars that aren't pase'! lol! Thank you all for any suggestions!

|You're right, sunflowers are indeed excellent hot weather plants. I can't believe I didn't think to mention them.
Check out our sunflowers database:

To name just a few recommendations, I like:
Sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Teddy Bear')
Sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Velvet Queen')
Sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Autumn Beauty')
