She's running her heart out now, happy, hale & hearty. The tears are ours.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others.

I'm going to retire and live off of my savings. Not sure what I'll do that second week.

In the picture, the dog on the far outside (towards the top, closest to the grass) is most likely my Pippin. His right hip isn't as striped as the rest of his body, which makes him easier to pick out of that particular crowd.

They're all really nice looking dogs! She looks like a great mama. Well muscled -- I'm impressed.

she was an athlete. and a great mama. They thought about breeding her again, because she was so good (and her first-born won stake races and set track records at Orange Park Kennel Club in Jacksonville), but they were committed to letting their dogs have life as a pet, so every brood they personally owned was released to adoption after one litter. They're one of the reasons I don't hate greyhound racing.

If all would do as they do then greyhound racing wouldn't have such a stigma attached to it.

How old are the pups in the photo -- do you know?

There are more good people than bad people in greyhound racing, in my experience. Thumbs up The pups are about 2 months old in that photo.

here's Pip's baby picture, taken about 4-5 days after his birth. He's in Cathie's lap, and as you can see, his body takes up her entire thighs. The entire litter was that big

Wow. He's L O N G. But greyhounds are supposed to be. If it weren't for the baby toes & those teeny nails you wouldn't know it wasn't a grown dog in that pose. Hilarious! Hilarious!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

I love puppy pictures!

My breeder friend hates to take photos at that age. She says all baby dogs look like rats. My other breeder friend says the same but I disagree with them. I think they're adorable. So the 1 who still breeds take pictures & sends them to me. Hilarious! Hilarious!
