![]() By Bubbles | My husband surprised me one day with two large stone balls for the front garden. He had to have two men help him place them. I just loved them peeking out of the salvias near the sidewalk. Our neighbors would walk up the hill and take a rest, letting their kids sit on top of the balls. This is a story of how the balls wound up hidden in our backyard. [View the item] |

Thanks Sheila! How'd you ever find it again. I thought it was buried in the "archives of articles!" |

Well it was by accident, but nice to know we can pull up articles again. I was looking at the sphere article Debbie C posted and at the bottom below her picture it says something to the effect that this article is "garden art" category. So I clicked there and saw yours and others from past postings. Just another nice thing our leader built into the website!! ![]() ![]() |

No, but thanks, That is the post that came up in the random ideas display, and I read it and all the associated posts, The one I was looking for was a post she had on one of the pages of replies she referenced a picture of her garden tour on Cubits, and I tried to find it but it kept bouncing me back to ATP. Thanks, M |

Sorry Marilyn, I read your post, but couldn't figure out what post you were asking about. When Lynn answered, I thought that was what you were asking for. Give me a minute and I'll post the link! |

This is what you saidBubbles said:Photos? It's not often you have a motorcycle, a police car, a fire truck, and a gaggle of firemen, cops, and curious neighbors on your street. Of course I wanted to document it. You just can't make this stuff up... Is the above what you were referring to? |

Thanks, Marilyn! I appreciate that. I'm not sure what it'll look like tomorrow. We're expecting a low of 28 tonight. It was in the 80s yesterday. Crazy weather. I'm remembering things I should have covered, but it is too late now. |

This is my first time on the Garden.org threads and when I saw the title "The Runaway Balls" it took me back to the first time I read your story Sandi (Bubbles). I had to go back and read it again, and now I am laughing again. Thanks again for the funny story from long ago, and for making my day!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
