My Epiphyllum hookeri has set three of these. Are they fruit or young seed pods. If fruit I "assume" there will be seeds inside?? Each cloud has a silver lineing if only you look for it. |

The fruit is an unripe seedpod. Edible? Probably not to humans. |

Yes it bloomed..in the second pic you can see the spent bloom still attached. So adding to the DB I should label it as fruit?? Each cloud has a silver lineing if only you look for it. |

Yes, it's the fruit and we could use pic's for the database. My Hooker's Orchid Cactus (Epiphyllum hookeri) which I planted in-ground at our other house used to occasionally get fruit after blooming. ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! ~ |
