The daylilies look good, nice clump! I really like that bright Lycoris, looks like a sparkler or firecracker. ![]() I still have lots of roses blooming too, nice to see quite a bit of color out there! Love that exquisite Sisters at Heart bloom! I have a big garden spider right by my front walkway, I have passed it every day for weeks now, named it Charlie or Charlotte, I throw both names out there for anyone asking. ![]() |
I'm relieved to hear your approval of the daylily clump. It looked good to me, but what do I know? ![]() There are some areas in my garden requiring major cleanup efforts, but I'm waiting for the spiders to go into hibernation or die or whatever they do in winter. Walking into those big webs is such an unpleasant surprise! |

Zu: If I'd known you were into daylilies I could have sent you a ton of them two weeks ago. I dug up all the ones I had around that Mulberry Tree and divided them, then tossed the excess fans since I was running out of room. I love REAL WIND. One of my favorites.(Mark where you plant it. It's a dormant.) Pandora's Box grows faster than any daylily I've ever seen. It's mind boggling ! |
See, you can grow dormants too, just some of them are hard dormants. Too bad Mike, she could use them to fill in more spots but I will be dividing a few more soon. ![]() |
Thanks, JD. I didn't know I was into daylilies until recently myself. ![]() |

You got some very nice looking fans of daylilies, Zuzu. You will be a hemaholic soon! I really like the red surprise lily. It sure has a long bloom season. Vickie May all your weeds be wildflowers. ~Author Unknown |
