|Got an email from Gardener's Supply announcing that today is Houseplant Appreciation Day. It was funny timing as I was just talking houseplants with a coworker.|

|I like it, a lovely idea, except maybe the timing. One might hope to get a new house plant on HP appreciation day. If there are any to buy at this time, taking them outside today would be dangerous most places (although it happens to be a fine temp here today.)
Overall, house plants are most appreciated during the dreary days of winter by me. I will try to make my appreciation official today & make sure nobody's thirsty. Most of 'em get through the off-season looking OK, and they just want to be left alone mostly. In the summer, I usually enjoy doing it but do spend a lot more time watering, and manage to sunburn a lot of them.
What do you appreciate most today? I can't decide.
