Judging by the air roots I see, I'd guess it is one of the epiphytic cactus such as Epiphyllum.

It looks really dark in color, my first thought was that it's been frozen...I hope not!

I was trying to find a comical way to suggest that you should add some support for the plant to climb...wanted to say something witty about the boot planter. I couldn't think of a thing. Sad

It hasn't been frozen!! It also isn't my plant,my daughters grandmother asked me if i knew what it was and i said nope but i know a group of people who will!!! Thumbs up Group hug
