We wrap up annuals week with a discussion of the interesting articles posted to this site this week. We also talk about the usual things happening around the farm, Dave introduces us to his aquaponics efforts, and we have an impromptu discussion about some interesting crepe myrtle cultivars and species.

|Enjoyed the podcast and the two of you bantering back and forth is always fun.
Dave, yeah I think we need to see another cute "Amaranth-like" photo of you! I look forward to hearing more about your aquaponic endeavor; have you decided what kind of fish you'll raise? Tilapia is very popular down here and there are a few Tilapia farms around. Tilapia is a mild tasting fish and really good; of course catfish is good too!
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the Annuals week ... wonderful articles, tips and photographs!

|I would be very happy to grow Tilapia but the issue is that they are not available anywhere around here that I can find. So, I'd have to order them somehow and I'm not keen on that idea.
Catfish does really well in aquaponics and that's the direction I'm probably going to go. I've also heard about people doing bass and that sounds like it'd be fun, too.
