Hi Liz Glad to see you made it over here. How's those brugs doing? |

Coming along... I actually have some blooms! A lot of the ones that froze in the pots are making a goofy comeback, groowing from roots and what looked like dry sticks. Still, I did lose a lot of passiflora and a huge number of hibiscus. The flowering vines suffered as did a ready to bloom Jade Vine (there goes 100.00!!!). The IRS isn't going to believe my business loss for last year! LOL!!! I'm happy, though. With the reduced responsibility, I've been able to take better care of my health. I was a walking gumdrop. Blood sugar was 364! Now it's around 116 and getting better. So, you win some. You lose some. I also have more time to work on my new cubit! :tongue_smilie: ...and get the word out about what a great place this is to be! ![]() Visit me at A Little Bit Of Paradise for info about Brugmansia, Passiflora, Amaryllis and tropical plants! |

LOL. I just put up a tent that measures 18 ft x 20ft mainly for shade but during the winter, it would be easy to wrap the thick mil plastic around for some winter protection. I was lucky in that I lost most of my alocasia but most everything else is coming back. You're taking care of "The Chief" aren't you? I need to upsize the pot that the "Chief" cross is in and hopefully it will bloom this year. My brugs have done the same thing coming up from the roots next to or at the bottom of a dead stick. |

Sad to report The Chief is in Brug heaven. His crosses, however are all over the world, so HE LIVES!!!![]() Visit me at A Little Bit Of Paradise for info about Brugmansia, Passiflora, Amaryllis and tropical plants! |
