Looking at the two stems of Kushi Maya and noticed bulbils in the spent axil grooves. Massive growth around the stem roots. As so little 'so far ' is known about Kushi Maya, I thought I might highlight it Glare

I did not try to breed anything onto Kushi, In fact I cut the heads off after the initial display. I have a feeling it may be a 'Rabbit' type, breeder, like Lankon!

Kushi Maya are, after what I have read, not fertile. But Lankon are pollen fertile. It may also produce some seeds when pollinated with lankonense hybrids.

Interesting! I have ordered a few Kushi bulbs this spring and also heard that it divides quickly, which suprised me being that in my experience most oriental are slow to reproduce stem bulbs. Although I have noticed that for me, 'Acapulco' grows stem bulblets like crazy.
