Ordered some Floribunda and Hybrid Tea Rose Bushes. I'm thinking that this winter is going to kill some of what I already have. Lillies, Echinacea, Clematis, Oxalis, Tuberous Begonias, Caladium, Honeysuckle, Clethra, Viburnum, Buddleia (Sp?), Winter Jasmine and lots of Cosmo and Cleome seeds (among many others). Most of the plants will be starters. I have a spot where I put all the very young plants in pots or in the ground away from the actual gardens, so that I can see which will survive before I put them in their permanent home. |

Nothing prettier than a cosmos swaying in the breeze! I'd love to order a few roses to replace some I will be digging out, but I have no clue as to what I want in a rose right now..... |

Just found this thread--will take a closer look tonight, after school and Dr.'s appt later. Some great choices/photos, but about the Cosmos--I love them too, but always end up with those man eaters, no matter what it says on seed packet! What is the stripey variety in the 1st cosmos pic please? ![]() “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” – Leo F.
