No don't delete, Sandi. It is a good idea and I love seeing the things people do with daylilies in art. The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children. |

About 15 years ago when repainting the kitchen I stenciled daylilies on the kitchen cabinets..... The kitchen has been repainted 3 times since then. Stenciling is so outdated now... ![]() ![]() While at a Christmas craft show in Burlington, VT several years ago I found this ceramic tile. Thought I would get a few more when that fancy kitchen remodel happened and I would use them in the backsplash. The tile is still sitting in it's bubble wrap in the china closet....waiting. The company website for the tiles http://wildflowergraphics.com/ ![]() At one point in time, I worked crafting wooden jigsaw puzzles. One of our benefits was that we could cut personal puzzles on our own time. While this isn't directly daylily, the puzzle that hangs on my living-room wall is a personal reflection of a love for gardening. ![]() A close up of one section showing a few of the personal puzzle pieces, a watering can and hummingbird.... ![]() and a child holding the stem of a daisy.... ![]() |

Gorgeous, Char. The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children. |

Glad they are keeping this thread. @Char thank you for sharing the tile link. I hope others post their art as I am always looking for ideas. Lisa Love what you teach and teach what you love! |
![]() I hope others will share their art as well. Finding artwork with daylilies isn't easy and ideas or links for where to look can be a big help. Another link I have is a local artist, I've only seen his prints from the website. Click on "Old Fashioned Flowers" http://ciderhillgardens.com/Bu... |

Way back when Tinker's had garden forums besides the database someone took daylily pictures and used a computer program to make them look like watercolor paintings. I don't recall which program they used but the resulting pictures were very attractive. If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden! Faith is the postage stamp on our prayers! Could you be talking about these? Program was Microsoft picture it ( long gone, no longer supported). Many many hours creating the pictures from the photos! Need to find an inexpensive program to play with this again. ![]() ![]() Love what you teach and teach what you love! |
