It is 75 and crystal clear here. I don't want to go back to Indiana but I heard there is a box of daylilies waiting for me! |

Nice of you to check in James! I bet that warm weather is great for a change! However, those daylilies would have me on my way back home! Natalie |

Hahaha the sunshine is amazing. I don't know which plants they are. I thought I had postponed them all but I guess not. |

@Newyorkrita Beautiful crocus. I was going to work outside today but it rained almost all day off and on -- just a slow gentle rain, not the usual gully washers we have sometimes in the spring. Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day. "The moving hand writes and having writ moves on. The terraces garden this spring. So far only the crocus are blooming. But once they are done there should be lots more going on. I added daffs and crocus and all sorts of tulips. This garden has always looked fabulous when the daylilies are blooming so I wanted to finially get to add the spring color that I always wanted. ![]() This is the front yard bed I call the planterbox. I really worked on this last fall. I had daylilies that died out in there, I replaced any dead ones by moving clumps from other areas in the yard. Then in later fall I planted mostly tulips. Hundreds and hundreds of them in here with some crocus on top. I hope it turns out looking the way I envisioned. ![]() |

I have no doubt it will Rita! A nation mourns its fallen soldiers, who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. And Junior? flaflwrgrl said:I have no doubt it will Rita! Thing is that bed is really difficult to work on as far as planting the tulips. One reason that I had not gotten to it sooner. And there is no way I was going to replant it year by year. So last year figured out a planting scheme and layout using tulip types that come back year after year. So I should be set in that bed for a great spring show year after year after year. Hope it all works out the way I planned it. |
