I dunno...in looking at the post you reference, Maurice mentions that Triploid are usually considered sterile (though not entirely). It seems unlikely this plant would have 72 registered child plants from so many different hybridizers. Course, I could be wrong, this is not my forte...but that number of children plants just seems high to me for something that should have a very low chance of succeeding in the first place.
