Isn't it wonderful how the adeniums go crazy blooming at this time of year? They bloom a little all year but in the spring they really put on a show. Those are some beautiful blooms.

Here are a couple of mine, also all NOIDs.

I succumbed to another pretty triple Adenium yesterday (pictures to follow). I also picked up five very nice small low pots and potted up the seedlings I got last year from Mike. A productive morning!

I've been pollinating, single red to single red, double white to triple white. I read that if you try to cross flowers that are too different you'll just get single pink! Wa! These are two different plants, maybe I'll get a line of seeds that come true...

Doris, that isn't one! Two, very similar. I'm hoping for a nice seed pod that's full of seeds that come true. If they don't look like that, the babies I mean, I'll just cross the better babies back with either one of these two, to eventually have a seed line that someone can grow this flower from seed, wheeee.

It's not often you walk around your yard and go 'oh wow!!' but today was such a day. This Adenium, 'Sakda Purple' is a first time bloomer for me. The picture does not do it justice. I swear it looks like one of those photoshopped pictures on evil-bay....
I have proposed a new entry to the database for this cultivar and will add the picture then.

The name on my tag is Sakda, I would love to know the correct spelling.

One of my all time favorites, Poseidon, is showing its first bloom today. I'll have to wait for better light to get a picture.
