I planted a Radiant Perfume, a Firefighter, & a Fragrant Cloud & this is none of those. It's very pretty, striped creamish & dark pink/red, smells lovely, roundish squat buds, lightish green foliage. Any ideas? Of course it's beautiful & now mine - but it's not what I planted! Thanks! ![]() Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Hard to tell until it grows and displays its habit, but if it's a dark pinkish-red rather than true red or orange-red, it could be Berries 'n' Cream. Rose (Rosa 'Berries 'n' Cream') |

Bought it here in southern California, likely a Weeks. And I think it's way more pink/burgundyish than red. It is very photogenic! Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else? ~Betsy Cañas Garmon https://www.ButcherShop-NoBone... |

Scentimental, Rock n Roll, .. how thorny is it? Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet... |

It looks a lot like the Julio Inglesias I just bought in Southern Cali. Candy Land is another possibility. It's pretty! Here's some Google images for Julio Inglesias: note that the buds are kind of squatty, and color varies. https://www.google.com/search?... Could be any one of those 3:Rock & Roll, Julio Iglesias, Scentimental - and I'll love it no matter what it is or how much it clashes w its warmer colored neighbors. Thank you Toni for offering a clue. It's not very thorny! Not reach out & bite you when you come near like most of the roses I love the most! Is one of these less thorned than the others? It's pink on white (vs white on pink) if that helps you help me. Happy Spring! Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else? ~Betsy Cañas Garmon https://www.ButcherShop-NoBone... |

well, since it's not very thorny, it's definitely not George Burns as that one is VERY thorned.. the thorns I swear have thorns... Just looked at the Weeks website. Never heard of "Candy Land", but this one is could be it since you mentioned that it could be a Weeks rose. http://weeksroses.com/_Roses/C... Ooh I hope not. It's growing tall quickly but it doesn't seem to be a climber. That's clearly wishful thinking as it can't climb there. I'm hoping for Julio Iglesias; I love his music! You may have cold & snow but that was a 5.3 earthquake & it bounced me quite a bit! Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Your wish could come true because Julio Iglesias definitely is more pink than red, whereas Scentimental and Rock & Roll are more of a true red. |

Or it could be a sport. Zu - didn't you have a couple of roses that sported like that? Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet... |
I did end up with a couple of beautiful striped blooms on Granada, and the whole bush of Oklahoma produced striped blooms one year, but both roses had been growing in the ground for more than 20 years by then. I'm not sure how long it takes a rose to produce a sport. In fact, I don't know much about sports at all. I don't even know why some are recognized and some aren't. Our local nurseries have always sold a climbing version of Charisma, for instance, and I have two of them growing in my garden, but HMF.com has never acknowledged the existence of a climbing Charisma. |

Very helpful woman at the neighborhood nursery I bought the roses at confirms: It's a Scentimental! Rose (Rosa 'Scentimental') She ran down about 8 points, left me totally convinced (at like 3!) I'd never have bought a striped rose 'cause I thought I didn't like them but this one's a beauty with a distinctly rose-y scent and now it has a name! Coffee. Garden. Coffee.
