What a beautiful Gentian! The color is so intense! Is it hard to start and grow? |

I guess it can't be too hard because I have succeeded with it ![]() I got the plant from somewhere...Wild Ginger Farm...last year. I recall it being reportedly lime tolerant and "one of the easiest to grow". It was a tiny sprig and so far it has made a good clump. |

Thanks. I think I might have to see if I can get some seeds! |

I love that color! I went to Wild Ginger Farm's website as soon as I read that's where you got them, but unfortunately, they have suspended their mail order operations. If anyone hears of another place that has these, please let me know. I garden for a lady who just turned 100 years old, and she loves blue flowers. I'd love to get her this one. http://wildgingerfarm.com/stor... |

Oh no--suspended mail order operations--that is most unfortunate and I am sorry to learn of that development |

Aha! Found it here: http://www.edelweissperennials... Edit: Yikes, nearly fifty bucks for three 3" plants, including shipping! No can do... |
