I want to celebrate birthdays with Brittany from now on. That sounds like it was the best ever.

Hey Detrick. It has been a long time. I think the last time was when we ran into each other downtown.

I've flooded as needed. This last week I've had to deep water twice, exactly. Fish Emulsion once at week. Is that enough? Is FE the right stuff?

one issue is that nitrogen is leading the pack. at least, get a balanced fertilizer with micros. i don't know what constitutes usable n-p-k values. i use 10-16-36 for everything in my yard. i am focusing more on the overall health of the plant by giving it more potassium for root growth. i will probably switch over to a balanced granular fertilizer with micros for most of the plants and keep the plumeria on the 10-16-36. some ppl use granular colorburst 15-30-15 for their plumeria. just find something with micros that doesn't have more nitrogen than the p-k. granular is always good if you're not good about fertilizing regularly. i fertilize each time i water but only at 1/4 strength.

I have some granular I'll start using. I'm pretty good about fertilizing so I'll start with a full dose and continue with the 1/4 dose. Thank you , Dete!

Agree with D... at least a balanced fertilizer... I like the bloombooster fertilizer during the spring, once I have leaves, to help stimulate flower production... don't know if this is the best way, but it's worked for me... then for the most part I use 10-16-36 for the yard in general...

This last year all I got was to flowers off all my plummies.
From what I;ve read about it looks like its time to switch to a low N fertilizer.

I got a serious eye roll this weekend from the DW.
I was watching a football game and the 7UP commercial came on where David Spade is sitting next to the swimming pool and all I could focus on where all the plumeria surrounding the pool.

How many of you pay more attention to the plants in the background in commercials or in movies than the actual show?

Ray, I did the same thing... but it was more like this... "OMG, those are PLUMERIAS around the pool... did you see that... wait, rewind it for me... fine, give me the remote... see, see... wow... I have to call my mom, where's my phone... Honey, turn the game down I'm on the phone...".... let's just say my hubby doesn't really care about plants... LOL... Rolling on the floor laughing
