Thanks everyone, the seedling beds are about 30%
this time last year they were past peak.

You have seen this seedling # in a lot of my cross's
It want be registered because the scape is too short
It's been a great parent and doesn't produce short scapes

This is the third seedling to bloom from this cross,
nothing to write home about but I have the genes
of both in one bloom so the kids from these should
be a lot better.

A second bloom on the one that I believe is a child of Stippled Statement. It definitely looks like a cross from that cultivar. I really like it!!!! :

Thumb of 2014-05-17/beckygardener/b42b34

A new seedling blooming for the first time. The colors were so bright on this one. Small bloom that got my immediate attention because of the colors:

Thumb of 2014-05-17/beckygardener/19e2f6

It sure is fun each day getting out to the garden with camera in hand. I am marking each plant as they bloom. I need to write down more info on each daylily, but for now marking the plants and photographing them is top priority! I sure love this time of year when the daylilies start blooming! Thumbs up

Fred - Your new hybrid blooms almost brings me to tears, they are so beautiful!!! Wow! I am so glad I have 4 Dragonfly Dawn x Dragonfly Dawn seedlings growing. Can't wait to see them bloom and to use them as parents to create some off-spring (seeds). Wow!

I am waiting for the night temps to get out of the
50s to see what color this really is. Have seen nothing
like it here, it also has a few teeth and a great scape.

Yup! I have to agree!

My Stippled Statement hybrid has been blooming almost daily. Today there were 2 blooms on it! This one is a keeper. Might be a good one for me to name and register. I really love it!

Thumb of 2014-05-21/beckygardener/900ecd

The funny thing I've noticed about the blooms is that one flower petal always looks like horns or a bite was taken out of it. The other 2 petals have the ruffles, but one petal on every bloom has that odd look. It's trademark, I suppose!!! Hilarious!

I see what you mean Becky. That is very interesting. Maybe you could have a name for it that reflects that little quirk.
