Attention Caladium lovers! Bill at Caladium Bulbs 4 Less is sponsoring a photo contest at All Things Plants! This will be a contest where members who are growing caladiums can post their favorite photos. Once the entries are all received, the membership will judge the photos by voting for their favorites. The winners will receive: 1st Place - 100 Grade #1 Caladium Bulbs of the Winners choice 2nd Place - 50 Grade #1 Caladium Bulbs of the Winners choice 3rd Place - 25 Grade #1 Caladium Bulbs of the Winners choice The prizes will ship to each winner in the right time for the 2015 growing season. All winners will also receive a caladiums mouse pad made by Zazzle. We will start the contest in mid July, and the voting will occur the first week of August. Exact dates will be revealed later. By entering the contest, you are granting permission to the sponsor to use your photo on their website or in their catalog, with credit given to you, of course. Why am I posting this announcement so early? It's to give everyone time to get their plants together and prepared for photography! So, if you're growing caladiums this year, as soon as you have good growth, start photographing! When the contest opens, ideally you will already have your photos ready. There will be only one category in the contest and all photos will go into that one category. Each member will be allowed to post up to 10 photos into the contest. When the time comes for the contest, I will post a new thread with the announcement, and will bump this thread with a link to it. Make sure you "watch" this thread for future updates! |

How fun - I don't grow caladium but look forward to some lovely photos. I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned. |

Wow love this ![]() ![]() ![]() It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give... |

Can the entries be of NOID caladiums? I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown ~~ |
