@EdBurton - Just yesterday I put a picture of my "Hybrid Fern Leaf Peony" into that category in the database. Your leaves and blossoms bear a close resemblance to the ones in that Category.
Yikes, I just had another look at that database, and now I'm totally confused! I hadn't opened up the other categories on that page, and now I don't know who fits where! Do they all start out with that very purplish fine foliage? Is that how your 'Smouthii starts out, too? It's all a mystery to me! Shrug!

My unknown, The foliage is to wide to be "paeonia-tenuifolia" which I also grow.
