I really do just love the taste of Blackberries. But the thorns on the trailing types are simply wicked. So I never planted any until I discovered the thornless varieties. And as a bonus the berries on these are nice and large.
I got a real education here tonight Greene. And a great laugh. And I'm more confused than ever. Oh well, whatever they are, they sure taste good so I guess we should just hush up & enjoy eating the berries that are black.

My neighbor gave me dewberries last year. They are berries. They are black. They are wonderful, but they do NOT taste like blackberries.
