Fuchsias forum: Fuchsia Claire Rochfort and Gladys Lorimer

Hi there!

My late father created the two fuchsias named above, one for my daughter Claire and the other after my mother. Over the years, my brothers and I have not managed to keep the plants we had alive, and definitely did not have my fathers knack of taking cuttings.

I wondered if any of your readers or members have either of these fuchsias, and could send me a cutting. Alternatively, do you know of any nurseries that might hold these plants? I would be happy to pay for them if necessary.

Thank You!

Sorry, I'm of no help. I've never had a fuchsia survive me Sad

You might try posting on the plant and seed trading forum. Your request might get more notice there.

Sorry, Rocs639. I don't grow these two fuchsias and I don't remember ever seeing them offered for sale anywhere.

Gladys Mortimer is available at Katrien Michel's nursery in Belgium

God luck

You can find Gladys Lorimer's cuttings in England and Holland (other fellow fuchsias in UK and Kwekerij zeelenberg in Holland)

Good Luck
