Think the Blue Jay carried the plastic tag off. Does anyone recognize this bulb type plant? It has narrow strappy leaves. Early summer bloomer and seems to bed drought tolerant. |

That is it Connie. Thank you so much. I remember that name now that I see it in print. Perfect match on the bloom also. Now to make a permanent marker so I don't loose the ID again. Triteleia laxa 'Queen Fabiola'. Ithuriel's Spear (Triteleia laxa 'Koningin Fabiola') I would love to see a photo of yours. |

It is a thug for me, can't get rid of it though I like how it looks. It is now throughout one of my lily beds. This photo is AFTER I thought I had it all dug out. Now I at least keep it from going to seed by pulling the stems as they finish blooming. |

What a beautiful background for your Bonnie Jean lily. Good to know that it readily reseeds. I will save the seeds and use them in other places. Like the ditch across the road from my yard. : ) |

I'm going to try it here. A nation mourns its fallen soldiers, who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. And Junior? Well, Junior spies their solemn white graves from the back of his limousine, and he grieves for the inconveniences he overcame for his silver spoons. Quoth the Craven “Nevermore.” ~Walter Shaub~ |
