|As we walk around The Garden at Lake Merritt..saw this squirrel..dig, dig, digging, just keeps on digging..glad it is not my garden some other areas were properly wire fenced..but this area is up for grabs.|
And running up and down the pathway..like the king of the pathway..
And some pause..in time for some photo op

And I guess he is! Just doesn't know that he has an online audience.

|Haha! What a character! I kind of miss the squirrel I called Notch Ear, who ruled the roost around here so long (squirrel-wise), not much fear of me, that's for sure! She may be dead now, as I last saw her in early winter. None of the squirrels around here this year are bold or have such a strong personality.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
