This popped up where I have been putting lilies some where no ID bulblets. It is bigger then what I have seen so far, was not sure if it was a lily or not. ![]() ![]() If you would have a mind at peace, a heart that cannot harden, go find a door that opens wide upon a lovely garden. https://www.facebook.com/pages... |

Possibly a Zantedeschia (calla Lily)? http://pacificbulbsociety.org/... |

Looks like a lily to me. You can always carefully dig down alongside the bulb and see if it is comprised of scales. However, lily leaves at this stage can easily break off and that will set the bulb back quite a bit. Not all lilies are equal-- some do make larger leaves than others, and these "basal" leaves can be bigger than leaves on the stems. Here is a photo I just took of some trumpet lily seedlings with basal leaves: ![]() |

Let us know how these turn out. If it is indeed a lily it should put up a stem next year. It may or may not put out a bloom then-- you may have to wait another year for that. |
