'Mack the Knife' had been doing well in this location which gets morning sun. But suddenly this year, I've got strange upright growth on it. There is also some sun scald due to 2 houses with white siding being about 12 feet apart and our slow spring which suddenly transitioned into summer.

Anyway, the growth is strange this year. Since I had a supply of HVX test strips, I used one and it tested negative.

I'm interested in your thoughts. TIA.

I'd say chalk it up to a weird spring for this year.
