I have tried everything organically (or so I thought) to get rid of the dreaded Red Lily Beetle. I have used chemicals in the past that have worked fine but left me with a guilty conscience. What am I harming?
Not only is she beautiful, but helps the garden.
I am going to have to try something on the beetles, they destroyed all my lilies, and I have seen a few on my Echinacea. I do not know if they eat the Echies, and Neem Oil does not seem to bother them.
What worked for you ? I really do not want to use chemicals but need to do something. At least this way I will not have to try different things

NJBob I used to use Dual Action Rose & Flower Insect Killer and it kills the lily beetle. I know that this was banned from being used in New York, not sure about NJ.
Took this picture of the larva. They are gross and stripped one plant completely within 24 hours. I powered the lily plants with a pesticide and hoped the other bugs stayed away from the lilies
Thanks they have it here. I will try to only do it on the stems and avoid the flower area to try to keep the bees safe. Not that there are any flowers left.
