Because it is a stock photo. Stock photos usually don't show how a lily will look growing naturally in a garden. They are grown in greenhouses under perfect conditions and I think it would be fair to say the color may also have been adjusted. Stock photos are meant to sell the plant! I'm afraid I have been disappointed too many times when I purchased lilies based on stock photos. Colors on the purplish red side in particular seem to be misrepresented. Yellows-- not so bad.
