For me it is a weed! I pulled a half garbage can full today! I guess, as is the case with weeds...A plant growing where you don't want it...

Oldie, press it and forward it with photos to a State herbarium. Then you will be very sure.
That's what I do when a plant is not a cultivar and confusing.
Photos alone can be unhelpful sometimes used in conjunction with keys.
