We all like to take about the weather. The heat, the rain, the humidity or lack thereof. Lets talk about weather in our gardens here.

They had forecasted rain for overnight and sure enough we did get that rain but probably not as much as they said we might. Very cloudy and overcast now but hope it doesn't rain again till late. At least I don't have to water anything!

Dry!

I tend to think it is because here in my area of Long Island we are so close to the water but we tend to get lots of rain.

It has been a really gloomy day here in south Jersey. Actually I am more in the middle but they call us South. It has been spitting all day but nothing worth talking about. Now it looks more promising and we can always use the rain. Let's hope it is just rain and no bad storms. Had our share of those haven't we?

I can't believe it--it rained last night!! Everything in the yard looks happier this morning...

Rained here too and now I do not have to water. The sun is having trouble showing up and storms are forecast for tonight.

I know--I am thrilled about not having to water today! So satisfying to be able to cross that off my to-do list for the day--without ever having to lift a finger! Wish all the chores were that easy!

No watering needed here either as it rained over night both last night and the night before.

There was thunder last night but not much rain! :-o Rita, you are lucky you got good solid nights of rain in there. We seem to get a lot of 'rain 'teasers'. We need a good long soaking!

I got a good soaking rain last night too. It was one of those great summer thunderstorms with all of the beautiful sounds of the earth cleansing itself. *sigh* The only ways it would have been better would have been if I hadn't been stuck inside painting my bedroom (instead of under my awning on the porch), and if it had been a Saturday night storm instead of a Sunday night storm (boo work on Monday!).

We seem to get lots of rain. No complaints from me. I rarely water my garden and it is so green each spring.

The sun has decided to shine and the humidity is getting worse. That's not making me happy.

Yes humid, I am a sweaty mess from working in the garden.

It's interesting how @catmint20906 and I live so close and experience such different weather sometimes!

Last night I got a looong, drenching rain with not much thunder.

I seem to have a slightly warmer microclimate, which is nice in the winter but that much more uncomfortable in the summer.

@ssgardener, I know isn't that weird? And I swear sometimes I think you have this tiny little Zone 8 microclimate.

Supposed to be a nice day today. Wish I could be outside enjoying it!
