|I love this ornamental grass. I would like to know which variety it is. I'm not very good with these grass IDs.|

|It appears to be Canada Wild Rye (Elymus canadensis), but the picture doesn't quite show enough detail to be sure of that.|

|I just got a reply from them. She says it is Hordeum jubatum Foxtail Barley. Thanks!|

|My guess would have been a Hordeum species, too. This is Hordeum jubatum in a wild prairie in western Minnesota. It tend to prefer the more moist areas.|
