@dave, I just loaded an image, and submitted to Queen of the Night (Epiphyllum oxypetalum) and the photo isn't showing. A glitch?

It should be working fine. Make sure you go through the whole process and confirm the submission at the end.

So, should I resubmit? I already received an acorn, and the space is there on the front page...just no photo.

Hi Lin, no the spot was there on the front page, but without the photo. I resubmitted that and it showed the second time.

I like your picture by the way ... and you will love the bloom when it opens! The fragrance is said to be really awesome but I have a terrible sense of smell when it comes to orchid cactus blooms for some reason; my husband says he can't believe that I can't smell much of a fragrance. Just remember to watch closely in the evenings and at night for the bud to start swelling in preparation of opening. Being a night bloomer I've missed blooms on my plants on occasion and find the spent blooms the next morning.

It definitely looks like it was a hiccup. Keep the acorn for your trouble. If it happens again I will investigate further into its possible cause.

Thanks Dave, it only gave me the one for the initial submission. I had forgotten that the system does keep track of submissions, and doesn't just spit acorns will-nilly!
