|A lovely sunny day and my first time to try my new lens for the camera out. So I got some pictures to cheer you up, hopefully! There are too many to put on at once so I will do it in stages for all to see.|
I hope you enjoy these as much as I have done taking them at a long distance.
Spring is bearing new life, from a horrible winter.
Snowdrops, what a lovely sight.
A wonderful Polyanthus.
This white cyclamen amongst the lavender.
What a beautiful pansy, that has survived the ice.
Fully open yellow crocus, in the sunlight.
Purple crocus, just enjoying themselves.

Purple crocus in the lawn, near my mothers. This was taken at long distance.
A clump of crocus.
Purple pansies covered in pollen. This bit of all purple must be Cherie's heaven.
A beautiful white pansy.
Choisya ternata 'Sundance' or Mexican orange blossom, although a bit battered.
Another survivor of the winter.
Magnolia buds against a wonderful blue sky.
A single polyanthus flower, how pretty!
Daffodils around the back or mothers, they are nearly there. The ones in the front are south facing so enjoying it . These are in the shade and north facing, but will not be long.
p.s I do hope the weather picks up for you all, keep warm.

|The sun was wonderful to see today, warm and dry put and things in flower now at last in abundance after getting stopped for two weeks because of the cold weather.|
So to cheer everyone up I went out and got some pictures, and there are more to come.

Mothers neighbour has been busy with her spring baskets!
Magnolia and some Daffodils that are nearly there in the north facing back garden.
A Daffodil almost out and some ornamental Blackcurrant.
Forsythia and some Narcissus which are out!
Crocus and Iris for Lucy!
Iris and then white crocus.
More iris and a wonderful Tulip in the sun.
Cyclamen and a crocus. Then the stunning bark of a paperbark maple in its winter colors.

|Beautiful Spring Flowers, Neil! Thanks for posting these for us! I wish I could swipe that Purple & Yellow Pansy right off the screen, & just plop it in my flowerbed, which looks rather 'lost' or something right now... I love those 2 colors together! I used to have one of those yellow Forsythia shrubs, but it pooped-out after about 3 years--- not enough sun where it was, I think... or maybe it's too humid here? Some of England's bulb-type flowers just won't grow here--- not cold-enough, or too humid, or something... We're sort of Sub-Tropical, here on the Coast. Where I used to live, in the Rio Grande Valley (far South, by the Border of Mexico) we were Tropical, with Citrus Trees, etc. |

Snowdrops and some Primroses with a red Acer (Japanese maple) in the foreground.
Blue Polyanthus and a creamy yellow one!
Pink Hyacinths and white Crocus.
Red Tulips and a yellow and red one.
Yellow Tulips and Blue Hyacinths, with a pink one!
Beautiful Crocus and white Hyacinths.
Pheasant eye narcissus, and a stunning Tulip!
There will be more tomorrow that I have taken today!

Neil, splendid pics! Could I have that little Acer?--- actually, never mind... it would probably just die here in the South, gets tooo hot in Summer... but I sure do like Jap. Maples. Also, all the Blue & Purple flowers are my fav.!

Polyanthus in on of my mothers neighbours, grandchild's pot! A primrose.
