I just bought more daylilies from Bill, and many were $7. He has 40 at $7 and most are greatly reduced. https://daylilygarden.net/cgi-... |

Some neat buys to be had there; however, my auction lust has already gotten me in trouble for this week...month (?) ![]() |

Maryott's has some of THE best Daylilies and he is generous with bonuses, too. I am winnowing out mine and expanding the Irises, instead, so I am not even looking. But I recommended the end of season sale to Mary Ann some time back and am glad that Gerry posted this thread! Moderation in all things…except chocolate, coffee...and potato chips. |

I've already received my order from Bill. Fantastic looking plants - some of the best I have received this year which is remarkable given the drought situation out that way. Plus...at least 6 of them are sending up scapes! |

Boy, if I could I would get several of those $7 deals! “Once in a while it really hits people that they don’t have to experience the world in the way they have been told to.” - Alan Keightley |

I am on a rigid no-flex budget, so it is easier to avoid even looking. Because I'd fer shure be placing an order even though I AM cutting back on the Daylilies. ![]() ![]() Moderation in all things…except chocolate, coffee...and potato chips. |

I ordered wisely and totaled $75, plus shipping, and I will have the special gift, Orchid Prelude. I will order more if the special gift is to my liking. |

ORCHID PRELUDE is a nice one with a big green throat. That picture was taken in the middle of summer after I got the plant, and the spring blooms are better and fuller. Betty |

We will be placing a second order for us very soon and a large order for our daylily club. We noticed last night that he has reduced more to $7 in the past few days. Doris "Anything worth doing is worth overdoing"~~~David Bishop http://daylilyfans.com/bishop/ |

I have never planted this late, I'm zone 5b, average 1st frost date Oct. 18. For those who live in a similar area, is it to late to be ordering Daylilies, I do use a couple inches of cedar bark around all my Daylilies. There looks to be some great deals at Maryott's, but only if they survive. Thanks, Gale |

I wonder if you can contact them, place an order this year to be delivered earlier next year? |

If you were going to order I would definitely try to get on the phone with Bill and see how quickly you can get an order shipped. Frost isn't the biggest threat - freeze is what will really get them if they do not have enough time to establish. |

Thanks for the replies, most years the ground isn't frozen until November, so maybe if I could receive them by, say, September 11 or 12th, I would be ok? From the wording on the web site, I assume it would be fall shipping only, but you are right I could ask. Thanks, Gale |
